The GLS85VM1 embedded solid state drive (GLS85VM1008A-M-I) comes 4, 8 , 16, and 32 Gbyte versions that operate at full industrial temperatures of -40° to 85°C. They come in a in a 14 x 18 mm 100-ball package and are compatible with JEDEC eMMC interface standards.
The 8 Gbyte version takes 120 mA typical from a 3.3 V supply, with 200 µA standby current. The devices support a 52 MHz clock and up to 60 Mbyte/sec read speeds. They have 2-bits/cell MLCC construction with built-in ECC. The 8 Gbyte version costs approximately $50 ea/100, with 16 week factory lead time.
