Industrial I/O server PC handles monitoring/ctrl
The IOS-7400 Industrial I/O Server PC features an Atom N270 1.6-GHz CPU with 1 Gbyte of DDR2 RAM and runs on Windows Embedded or Linux. Standard interfaces include VGA graphics, two Ethernet ports, two serial ports, four USB ports, a CompactFlash slot, and audio I/O.
More than 20 modules are available to provide a wide variety of analog, digital, and serial I/O processing and a 2.5-in. PATA hard-disk or solid-state drive is optional. The rugged unit takes 9 to 32 Vdc ±10% at approx. 30 W, depending on module selection and operates from –30° to 75°C. (Server, from $2,195; modules, from $325 — available now.)
