InfiniBand cable assemblies improve signal integrity
Meet demand for better performance and scalability in server storage applications
The LaneLink DDR InfiniBand cable assemblies support speeds to 40 Gbits/s over eight differential cable pairs (four channels) and improve cable signal integrity versus standard four-channel InfiniBand cables. Designed for server storage applications including SAN switches, routers, and server storage racks as well as RAID devices, the cable assemblies meet the increasing demand for greater system performance and scalability.
The cable assemblies include a paddle card offering improved signal integrity over the previous edge card, a PCB straddle-mount connector. The PCB receptacle features a die-cast frame with unitary latch posts and screw attachment to the PCB to offer isolation of cable loads from the SMT solder tails.
Multiple latching versionsincluding squeeze, lanyard, and jackscreware available for greater flexibility in system design and cable routing. (3-m-length, $114.53; 1-m, $93.98; 0.5-m, $88.84 — available now.)
