Instrumentation amp is low in cost
The INA131 is a general-purpose 3-op amp instrumentation amplifier with
an internally fixed gain of 100. On-chip laser-trimmed resistors provide a
maximum gain accuracy and drift of 0.024% and 10 ppm/ degreesC,
respectively. The INA131 has an input bias current of 2 nA and a minimum
CMRR of 115 dB. Internal input protection can withstand up to +/-40-V
inputs. The device operates from +/-2.25 to +/-18-V supplies and has a
quiescent current use of 3 mA. It is available in 8-pin plastic DIPs,
CerDIPs, and 16-pin SO packages. (From $3.25 ea/1,000–stock.) Burr-Brown
