The low-power 45-nm IC also adds hardware RAID acceleration on chip. Available by early 2010, the device will be offered with 7-year lifecycle support. Single-core versions will take 23 to 30 W, dual-core 35 to 65 W, and quad-core 48 to 85 W. All use the same socket. (Price not set yet — available 1st qtr 2010.)
