Interface software adds ICs to tester libraries

The Model AK57X interface software with USB dongle interfaces the B+K Precision Models 570A analog and 575A digital handheld IC testers with CompactLink functional IC test-generating software to permit adding new ICs to the testers’ built-in libraries. The software requires an RS232 or USB connection and runs with Windows XP and a USB jack.

The CompactLink software contains a descriptive test programming language for generation of both analog and digital IC test programs, and permits the user to check the program execution before they are compiled into machine code and added to the 570A and 575A libraries. Both Models are battery powered, with 2-line x 16-character dot-matrix LCDs to display test results, together with individual pin diagnostics, test made, and possible equivalents.
