The APS1012SW and APS2012SW inverters/ chargers supply 1-kW or 2-kW pure sine wave power output to connected equipment. The inverters feature conditioned output power, surge suppression, and noise filtering. They target remote work-site equipment such as power tools, power tool chargers, fans, lights, and heaters. The transformer design handles equipment with high current needs at startup like compressors, inductive motors. They also suit laptops, printers, and other mobile office electronics.
The inverters operate from 12–Vdc or 120–Vac input and provide 120–Vac (±5%), 60–Hz output. They offer 8–A wet and 80–A dry cell battery charging. The APS1012SW offers 1–kW continuous output and 2–kW peak output power. The APS2012SW offers 2–kW continuous and 4–kW peak output power. The transfer time from line power to battery mode is 8 to 12 ms. (Contact company for price and availability.)
