Fujitsu Components America and CRATUS Technology, Inc. demonstrated their latest developments in wireless, sensor-based Internet of Things (IoT) products at Sensors Expo 2016.
The product demonstrations highlighted examples of smart solutions across multiple IoT markets that integrate wireless modules and sensors. The concept products included a hydration device for diabetics, an interactive game play device, an impact sensor for sports helmets, an augmented-reality headset for the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) market, and a Smart Beacon running on a solar power supply from Sol Chip.
The two Silicon Valley-based companies recently announced that they will jointly develop and produce products for U.S. OEM customers in the rapidly growing Industrial IoT (IIoT) market.
