The DesignWare SuperSpeed is a complete SuperSpeed USB IP solution consisting of the device controller, PHY, and verification IP. The IP includes a SuperSpeed USB virtual platform and drivers to aid software development and has built-in support for the VMM methodology.
The package helps designers lower the risk and cost of integrating USB 3.0 into their SoC designs. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 delivers more than 10x the data transfer rate of Hi-Speed USB, providing needed performance for consumer image and video transfer. The USB PHY consists of high-speed digital and analog blocks, PLL, and I/O pads, which are delivered as GDSII for advanced foundry processes. The package supports all major simulators.
