IP65-rated panel PCs feature resistive touch
The PPC65 family of panel PCs comes with 12-, 15-, 17-, or 19-in.-diagonal 800 x 600 TFT color displays and use an Atom N270 1.6-GHz processor. The panels feature NEMA 4/IP65 environmental sealing and 5-wire 4,096 x 4,096 resistive touch. They have been tested to IEC 61000 for electrical/electromagnetic interference and are rated to IP65.
The units can all withstand 1.0-G vibration and 15 Gs of shock, and include 2 Gbytes of system memory with customer-installed SATA HDD and/or CompactFlash. They take 12 Vdc (24 to 48 V optional) and have a GbE port, four USB 2.0, and two RS-232 serial channels. (From $1,395 — available now.)
