Designated the Internet Keyboard, a wireless infrared keyboard and receiver
allow operation at distances up to 40 ft with 45° angles. The device
comprises 88 keys based on membrane technology and an integrated pointer
controller in an ergonomic plastic injection-molded design. Keyboard power
is supplied by four AAA batteries.
The receiver is powered from a standard keyboard connector and supplies
LED status indication of keyboard functions. The keyboard is sealed for
protection against dirt, liquid spills, and contamination. ($45 ea/10,000–available
