IR sensor checks traffic close to automatic door
Designed to detect approaching people/objects so as to signal automatic sliding doors to open, the FLT-D IR photoelectric sensor with SPDT-relay output has swiveling optics to optimize threshold coverage so the sensing area can be nearer the door.
At a mounting height of 2.2 m, the 250 x 60 x 45.3-mm sensor’s factory default sensing field is 2.2 x 1.5 m, and the field can be customized for the application. One sensor can monitor up to 20 different sensing field segments, and programming options include sensing area size, sensitivity to targets, and synchronization to other units to cover larger thresholds.
