JFET-input op amp achieves lowest bias current and offset drift

JFET-input op amp achieves lowest bias current and offset drift

The 19-MHz ADA4627 JFET-input op amp specifies 5-pA max bias current at 25°C and 500 pA max over the industrial temperature range of 40 to 85C, which according to the company is ten times lower than competing JFET-input amplifiers. The part also offers best-in-class dc precision with very low offset drift of 2 µV/°C max over the 40 to 125C extended industrial temperature range, which is three times better than competitive offerings.

The op amp features an 82-V/µs slew rate, 120-dB typ open-loop gain, and high-output current capacity. Additional features include a voltage noise of 6.1-nV/√Hz and a typical offset voltage of 120 µV.

The ADA4627 is the first product created with the company’s dielectrically isolated iPolar 36-V precision process technology. Housed in SOIC and LFCSP, the ±18-V device operates from standard ±12- and ±15-V industrial power supplies. (From $6.75 ea/1,000 available now.)
