The OPA1641, OPA1642, and OPA1644 JFET-input op amps feature a low noise of 5 nV/√Hz, a distortion of 0.00005% at 1 kHz, and a quiescent current of 1.8 mA per channel further maximizing audio system quality and performance. The op amps support the multiple channels that pro audio applications require, without increasing power consumption in high-performance audio circuits, such as broadcast studio equipment, analog and digital mixing consoles, and high-end A/V receivers.
A wide supply voltage range of 2.5 to 18 V and rail-to-rail output swing allow for increased headroom, which is critical for audio ADC front ends and DAC post filters, The single-channel OPA1641 is available in an SO-8 package, the two-channel OPA1642 in an SO-8 or MSOP-8 package, and the four-channel OPA1644 in an SO-14 or TSSOP-14 package.
