Designed to protect components in harsh environments, YQ Series electrical junction boxes meet NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 specifications and IP68 of IEC 60529 requirements (UL File No. E352997). The enclosures are available in eight sizes, ranging from 6 x 4 in. through 16 x 14 in., and are molded from impact-resistant polycarbonate.
Features include stainless-steel screws, a waterproofing closed-cell gasket, and an opaque or clear cover. Suited for use in marine, water-treatment, utility, alternative energy, or other environment where noncorrosive, waterproof enclosures are required, the U.S.-made enclosures are surface-mountable with a choice of mounting feet or mounting flange.
