Key switches suit auto, industrial, off-road apps
Suited for automotive, industrial, and off-road applications, the K6 and K12 Series key switches are offered in detect or single- or double-action tactile-feedback versions, and feature tactile feel for low-level switching applications. They are offered with an extensive range of LED colors, travel and actuator force options. They also seal to IP67 requirements for use in harsh environments.
Features include electrical and mechanical life to 1,000 cycles and self-cleaning contacts. Actuation force for the momentary-action key switches ranges from 1.5 to 9 N, with a mechanical travel range from 1 to 2 mm. The K6 measures just 11 x 7.4 x 8.4 mm, while the K12 key switch measures 12 x 11 x 11 mm. The switches are RoHS compliant and compatible with lead-free wave-soldering processes.
