Targeting the company’s PSoC 3 and PSoC 5 programmable SoC architectures, the CY8CKIT-025 development kit highlights PSoC’s unique 8- to 20-bit ∆∑ ADC with an internal voltage reference of ±0.1%, a sampling rate of up to 384 ksamples/s, and up to 18-bit ENOB performance. It showcases the capability for measurements in microvolts enabled by a precision of 0.003%.

In addition, the ADC enables designers to implement both differential and single-ended inputs for the ∆∑ ADC, providing unmatched flexibility in interfacing with sensors of varying output types. Designers can configure the ADC with a wide range of resolutions, sample rates, and input buffer and gain modes. This is easily accomplished using the GUI inside the PSoC Creator IDE. The kit includes each of four different types of analog temperature sensors. It also includes a bonus CY8CKIT-012 PSoC prototyping and development expansion board.($115 ea — available now)
