L-C protection devices suit 3G handsets

The EClamp239xP series of inductor-capacitor (L-C) circuit-protection devices provides the desired attenuation, steep amplitude rolloff, and low clamping voltage needed for high-performance color LCD interfaces in GSM and CDMA-based 3G handsets. RoHS/WEEE compliant, the series includes the four-line EClamp2394P, the six-line EClamp2396P, and the eight-line EClamp2398P.

The five-pole L-C filter network has inductor values of 19 nH and capacitor values of 12 pF, enabling minimal attenuation in the passband and 30-dB minimum attenuation from 800 MHz to 2.7 GHz. (Ea/1,000: EClamp2394P, $0.46; EClamp2396P, $0.60; EClamp2398P, $0.72—available now.)
