Delivering embedded memory with protection switching and per-flow QoS features in a single chip, the ZL33032 switch supports seamless delivery of advanced services, including end-to-end VLAN, over last mile networks. Protection switching rapidly detects link or path errors and reroutes traffic to ensure network failures are transparent to end users.
The ZL33032 device’s powerful QoS functions, including programmable input/output rate control, traffic policing and flow metering, support mission-critical applications and allow carriers to better manage bandwidth and meet SLAs. To enhance network security, the device integrates a hardware-based DoS attack-flow engine to protect against viruses and malicious attacks.
