LabVIEW version 2010 provides a number of improvements and additions, including 20% faster code execution via an improved compiler. An Add-On Developer Program has be added to make it easy for users to implement custom functions from thousands of partners.
The package now has an IP Integration Node, which allows users to integrate any third-party FPGA IP into the LabVIEW FPGA Module and offers direct compatibility with cores created with the Xilinx Core Generator. The version also has network streams that simplify sending large amounts of data between real-time and host systems and storage and data plug-in VIs that make it possible to read more than 100 third-party file formats.
