U-37F and U-37L (E37F501CPN223M) series of screw terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitors feature a high endurance rating to extend reliability in power-inverter systems. The 37F is rated for 5,000 hours at 85°C and rated ripple current, while the 37L is 10,000 hours. The U-37L has a useful life of 175,000 at +45°C and 1.5 times the ripple current.
Device capacitance ranges from 1,500 to 22,000 uf with voltage ratings of 350 to 500 Vdc, standard tolerance of +20%, and leakage current is 0.02 CV (uA) or 5 mA, whichever is smaller at +25°C. A 12,000 uF, 500-V unit has a can size of 89 x 219 mm, a maximum ESR of 8 mΩ at 25°C/120 Hz, and rated ripple current of 33.5 A RMS at +85°C/120 Hz and 46.9 A RMS at +85°C and 3 kHz.
