The LatticeECP3 family of FPGAs has new versions with small package size, lower power, and higher speed. The low-power versions consume, on average, 30% less compared to the standard devices, and the high-speed versions (-9) run 10% faster.
The 10 x 10-mm package Mini device has 17K LUTs and 116 user input/outputs and is 66% smaller than the current version. It features 3.2 G SERDES and 800 Mbit/s DDR3 interfaces. Low Power devices include versions for each existing speed grade (-6L, -7L, -8L) and for both commercial and industrial. The high speed option is available for 35K, 70K, 95K, and 150K LUT versions. (From $4.95, LatticeECP3-17K Mini device in Q4-2013 ea/500,000 — available now.)
