LCDs are lightweight and reliable
GML-Series LCDs incorporate an impact-resistant plastic bezel, a
single-sided common circuit board and a heat-sealed connector for enhanced
reliability. The reflective-type displays have a 4-mm profile and are
available in 16-character x 1-line up to 20-character x 2-line versions.
A built-in controller incorporates ROM (96 alphanumeric characters) and
RAM (rewritable 8 characters), cursor and display shift capability, and an
MPU 4- or 8-bit interface. The display runs off 5 V and has an operating
temperature range of 0 degrees to 50 degreesC. ($7.23 to $11.14–available
