The dual LT3030 low-noise, low-dropout regulator with independent shutdown control for each channel delivers a continuous output current of up to 750 mA on one channel and 250 mA on the other while offering a low dropout voltage of 300 mW at full load. Features include a wide input range of 1.8 to 20 V, output voltages as low as 1.215 and up to 19.5 V, and a low noise of 20 µVRMS (10 Hz to 100 kHz).
The part also offers a quiescent current of 115 µA/70 µA per regulator (operating) and less than 1 µA each (in shutdown). Housed in 20-lead thermally enhanced TSSOP and 28-lead 4 x 5-mm QFN packages, the part also features a precision shutdown/UVLO threshold or each channel, tracking/sequencing capability, and dual PWRGR flags to indicate output regulation per channel. A wide variety of grades/temperature ranges are offered, including E and I grades -40° to 125°C, H-grade -40°to 150°C, and the high reliability MP grade -55° to 150°C.
