Among the new models in the RS LED array series are said to be the industry’s highest-performance LED products whose very high lumen outputs suit lighting applications such as retail shops, high-bay-lit facilities, roadways, exterior areas, and industrial environments. The units can deliver 3,500 to 8,000 lm, and a choice of color rendering indices (CRIs) to 90 for warm-white lighting applications.
The LED arrays are available in neutral (4,000K) and cool white (5,600K) as well as warm white (2,700K and 3,000K), Warm white units are available with a CRI of 80 or 90, neutral with 80 CRI, and cool white with 70 CRI.
Warm-white output ranges from a minimum of 3,000 lm with 90 CRI when driven at 2.1 A/ 24.6 V to a minimum of 5,700 with an 80 CRI when driven at 2.8 A / 30.9 V. Cool-white LEDs typically provide 8,800 lm driven at 2.8 A / 30.9 V. Lighting based on the LED arrays can replace high-wattage HID luminaires to provide safer operation, (eliminating the need for lamp cages) while reducing payback periods to as little as two years.
