LED consumes about 1/10 power of 20 to 30-W incandescent
Green drop-in replacement is designed to handle dirty power environments and cut maintenance costs
A drop-in replacement for MR16-style, GU10-based incandescent lamps, the Series GMR16-5W LED bulb can provide 123 lm, the equivalent of a 20 to 30-W incandescent or halogen bulb, while consuming just 3.3 W. Further, it is engineered to operate from supplies of 80 to 260 Vac, so it can handle “dirty” power sources that can burn out other bulbs.
The lamp is designed to replace bulbs commonly used for accent, task, and display-case lighting, as well as track lighting. Its wide voltage range can also eliminate the need to stock multiple bulbs to coordinate with different voltages sources.
With an average white-LED lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, the lamp significantly reduces maintenance and, unlike halogen lamps, does not pose the threat of causing fires when accidentally coming into contact with other objects.
The bulb, which uses three high-power LEDs, is offered standard in warm white (3,000 K) and in a 20° spotlight beam angle, but custom bulbs may be ordered in other colors, voltages, and beam angles. The lamp has a three-year limited warranty. ($59.95 ea / single qty — stock to 6 weeks ARO.)
