LED driver IC works with dimmers

The PS30MG-G constant frequency (67 kHz) LED driver IC is optimized for dimmable off-line LED lamp applications, and features a high power factor. It operates either a non-isolated buck-boost or an isolated buck-boost (flyback) topology in the discontinuous conduction mode. The IC drives an external power FET and changes its duty to compensate for line voltage variation and inductance variation.

The device is intended to control a single switch, single inductor power converter (flyback for isolated version and buck-boost for non-isolated version) directly from 110/220 AC line at power levels up to 20 W. The MSOP10 packaged IC and provides LED power regulation accuracy of ±2%, LED current accuracy ± 4% (typ).
