Priced under $130, the OL2 series 2 x 2-ft LED-based flat-panel down-light assembly replaces same-sized fluorescent lay-in troffers used as recessed ceiling lights. The 0.44-in.-thick light fixture is also brighter (to 2,840 lm), more efficient (to 62.8 lm/W), and lighter weight (8.8 lb) than competing fluorescent fixtures.
The UL-certified OL2 downlight uses edge-lighting technology, with 100 LEDs spaced along two sides of the light guide for optimal light dispersion.
