Bayonet-base LED lamps retrofit annunciators to cut downtime and increase reliability
Designed for retrofitting and replacing incandescent bulbs used to backlight annunciators in industrial plants and power utilities, the PowerLine Annunciator LED Series BA9-style T3-1/4 lamps not only decrease power consumption, but because of the LED’s long life they reduce downtime and provide more reliable operation in critical applications.
Incorporating up to four 120 SMT LEDs, the wide-angle, bayonet-base lamps offer bright and even illumination of the annunciator lens in backlighting applications. With an average life span upward of 100,000 hours, the lamps provide energy savings of 50% to 80% compared with incandescents.
Available in five colors red, amber, green, blue, and white the lamps come in versions with one- and four-LED configurations that can work with typical annunciator voltages such as 12 Vdc and 120 Vac. As an example of output performance, a single-LED red lamp, will have a typical luminous intensity of 630 mcd when driven with a 20-mA, 24-Vdc input. (From $8.10 ea /100 — available 4 weeks ARO.)
