LED module targets 40, 60-W incandescent

Targeted at 40 and 60-W incandescent A-Bulb replacement designs, the COB (chip-on-board) LED series exhibits high efficiency, lumen output, CRI, and color uniformity. Based on a metal-core printed circuit board (MCPCB), multi-chip design, the series delivers over 95 lm/W and CRIs over 80 at 3,000K CCT. Fewer layers of thermal resistance result in lower overall junction temperature.

Patent-pending technology address the Hot/Cold Factor, that is, color uniformity over changes in temperature. From 25°C to 85°C, the LED module controls CCT shift to within 200K for all wattages. Use of a single, large light-emitting source means less diffusion is needed to achieve high uniformity and light distribution. The technology nearly achieves the 200-lm/$ industry target for LED light sources. (Contact company for pricing — available now.)
