LED optical light engine offers full visible spectrum

A low-profile series Light Engines provides fixture manufacturers access to full visible spectrum of GaN-on-GaN LED technology. From narrow spot to flood, the Light Engines produces high center beam candle power. The engine’s optical design provides accurate beam definition, smooth beam edges, and is customizable with the company’s Snap System magnetic accessory attachment. Designed for seamless fixture integration, the Optical Light Engines are compatible with a wide variety of industry-standard LED drivers and for use in enclosed, non-ventilated indoor and outdoor fixtures.

The point source optics technology produces high-intensity and uniform beams within a slim form factor. Narrow spot options at 10° or narrower are offered with a profile of 16 mm for 500 lm, and 25 mm for 1,000 lm. The optics technology also enables a 9° narrow spot version that is 25-mm thick. The Violet-Emission 3-Phosphor (VP₃) LED technology achieves a CRI of 95 and deep red (R9) rendering of 95. The light engines are available in three sizes of 11 (1.5-in.), 16 (2-in.), 30 (4-in.) diameters, feature 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K color temperatures, and provide an optional heat sink.
