Level sensors track targets in harsh places

PR Series level sensors use self-adjusting-signal and target-tracking technology that automatically optimizes the signal level over the measuring range. Unlike other sensor types, such as ultrasonic, the pulse-radar devices measure reliably and accurately in extreme environments.

The 4-20-mA-output sensors operate using a 6.3-GHz frequency burst and provide a detection range up to 30 m with resolution to 5.7 mm and accuracy to 0.25% of maximum range. Standard operating temperature range is 40° to 60°C, with higher ranges available on special order. (From $1,995 for base unit — available now.)
