LF wakeup receiver offers low power

The AS3930 is a single-channel ASK receiver that can generate a wakeup upon detection of a data signal that uses a LF carrier frequency between 110 – 150 kHz. The integrated correlator can be used to detect a programmable 16-bit wakeup pattern. Features include a current consumption in listening mode of 1.37 µA typ, a dynamic range 64 dB, an operating voltage range of 2.4 to 3.6 V, and a temperature range from –40° to 85°C.

The part provides a digital RSSI value, and supports a programmable data rate and Manchester decoding with clock recovery. Housed in a 16-pin TSSOP or QFN package, the part offers a real-time clock that is either derived from a crystal oscillator or the internal RC oscillator. ($2.30 ea/1,000 — available now.)
