Lithium-ion batteries are an option for the 1,500-VA model of the SSG series Industrial Grade UPS Plus. The Li-ion chemistry offers less weight, longer runtimes and higher energy density compared to the valve regulated lead-acid batteries.
The Li-ion batteries can reduce over 15 lbs from the overall UPS system, while providing twice the amount of battery runtime. The series is a double-conversion on-line sinewave regenerative UPS that suits military, aerospace and industrial applications. The U.L. listed series withstands elevated temperatures up to 131F. The UPS is available in 1,500VA, 2,200VA and 3,000VA configurations, can be placed in an equipment rack, or installed as a stand-alone tower. It provides hot-swappable battery packs, and slide-out battery packs that are replaced through the UPS front panel. The UPS offers unattended OS shutdown and remote monitoring and management.
