The ultralow-outgassing-SCV-2586 is a lightweight silicone adhesive for applications that require thermal stability and a broad operating temperature range. The adhesive exceeds the ASTM E 595 low-outgassing specifications and features a total mass loss (TML) of ≤0.10%, ≤0.01% collected volatile condensable material (CVCM), 0.74 specific gravity, and a primed lap shear strength of 175 psi.
The adhesive does not require moisture to cure, has minimal shrinkage, no byproducts and can be used as a bonding, sealing, or potting material.
