Suited for monitoring elevator doorways, AL21 Series ultra-low-profile light grids provide automatically adapt beam configuration to maximize resolution and coverage at close range. Units have a 9-mm-wide housing, field height of 1,800 mm, and sensing range up to 3.5 m.
The sensors are insensitive to ambient light, including sunlight, and triple-beam crossing optimizes coverage as the door is about to close. External amplifiers and transmitter-receiver interconnecting wires are not needed, and transmitter-receiver alignment is simplified by the beams’ large operating angle.
