The device handles supply voltages up to 40 V, features high ESD protection, and targets automotive applications such as door modules, power seat controls, and intelligent sensors. Improved slope control at the LIN bus ensures secure data communication at up to 20 kbaud using an RC oscillator for the protocol handling.
