The cost-effective MC33662 LIN PHY features compliance with LIN 2.1 and J2602-2 acceptance standards. The IC combines low noise emission with high EMI robustness and high performance ESD protection.
The IC runs at -40°C to 125°C and can sustain up to 15.0 kV minimum ESD IEC61000-4-2 on the LIN Bus, 20 kV on the WAKE pin, and 25 kV on the VSUP pin. It operates from 7.0 to 18 V DC, is functional up to 27 V DC, and handles 40 V maximum. The chip takes 6 µa in standby and versions support 10, 20, and 100 kbit/s baud rates.
