The ATA663431 and ATA663454 LIN system basis chips have a LIN transceiver, a voltage regulator, a window watchdog, and a high-side switch. The ICs have a 3.3 or 5.0 V LDO, respectively. The regulator is short-circuit and over-temperature protected.
The IC handles the LIN physical layer according to LIN 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.2A and SAEJ2602-2 and are qualified to AEC-Q100. In silent mode they take only 47 μA, typical, and sleep mode takes only 10 µA. They have wake-up capability via LIN Bus, WKin pin, and CL15 pin. They come in a DFN16 package and cost $0.75 ea/6,000.
