The MCP2003A, MCP2021A, MCP2022A, MCP2025 and MCP2050 LIN transceiver ICs are all LIN 2.1 and SAE J2602-2 compliant. Some devices include a voltage regulator and the P2050 also has a windowed watchdog timer. The MCP2050 comes in a 14-pin package, while the other models have either 8- or 14-pins, including an 8-pin 4 x 4 mm DFN.
The chips quiescent operating current is just 200 µA (2021A), they have automatic thermal shutdown, and they operate at -40° to 125°C. The ICs support baud rates up to 20 kbaud and are 43 V load dump transient protected. They are priced from $0.88 ea/5,000.
