Linear regulators suit noise-sensitive apps

The ADP120, ADP121, and ADP130 LDOs are available in a TSOT package while the ADP120/1 are also available in the wafer-level chipscale package. The LDOs target lithium-battery-powered devices, such as portable audio players, digital still cameras, handheld games and personal navigation systems

The devices provide supply currents below 350 mA while consuming 11 to 24 µA of quiescent current and operating at output voltages as low as 1.2 V. All three devices need only a 1 µF ceramic output capacitor. The ADP120 and ADP121 feature a 60-mV dropout voltage for 100 mA of load current, while the ADP130 has a 17-mV dropout voltage. (Ea/1,000 in TSOT package, ADP120; $0.26, ADP121, $0.27; ADP130, $0.33 available now.)
