LiSOCl2cells enable end-of-life alert

Targeting applications where battery replacement or recharging is either impossible or extremely difficult, PulsesPlus lithium thionyl chloride batteries offer the potential for end-of-life indication with an engineered voltage drop at a specific capacity benchmark. Two variations are available, a 3.6-V battery with a 5% end-of-life indication and a 3.9-V unit with a 10% end-of-life indication.

Features include a self-discharge of less than 1% per year and an operating temperature range from 40 to 85C. Available in a variety of sizes from 1/2AA to DD and multi-cell packs, the Lithium thionyl chloride batteries feature bobbin type construction, plus a unique hybrid-layer capacitor resulting in performance such as a D-size part with 19 Ah.
