The PIC24FxxKL family of 16-bit MCU features typical sleep currents of 30 nA at 25°C with up to 16 MIPS performance at 32 MHz. The low cost processors have typical run currents of 150 µA/MHz at 1.8 V and are available in 14-, 20- and 28-pin packages.
The devices have a 4 to 16 Kbytes of flash, a 17- x 17-Bit single-cycle hardware multiplier, a C compiler optimized instruction set, and two 16-bit timer/counters with selectable clock. They also have two capture/compare/PWM modules, two master synchronous serial port modules, and up to 12-channels of 10-bit A/D conversion. (From $0.75 is high volume — available now.)
