The AD8432 dual ultra-low-noise amplifier with selectable gain and active impedance matching allows the device to detect and resolve low-level input signals. The device uses pin-strapping options, which allows designers to select four gains: G = 4, 8, 12, and 16. At a gain of four, the amplifier’s 200-MHz bandwidth — according to the company — is nearly three times that of competing devices. Housed in 24-lead LFCSP packages, the part features an input referred voltage noise figure of 0.85-nV/√Hz, a single supply voltage of 5 V, and a temperature range of –40° to 85°C.
