Load switch offers low RDS(ON), 5% precision

The AAT4616 SmartSwitch family of adjustable, RDS(ON), current limited p-channel MOSFET power switches, suit high-side load switching applications. They feature current-limit capability of ±5% (AAT4616) and ±10% (AAT4616A). The load switches allow HDTVs, set top boxes and tablet computers to maximize the power usage from their USB or other supply rails and buses.

The load switch family options include active hi/lo enable, fault flag/no fault flag, resistor settable current limit, precision, and multiple package choices. Protection features includie reverse blocking, over temperature shutdown, short circuit protection and fast transient response. The SOT23-5 versions are pin compatible with the previous generation of the parts.
