Logic gates can trim quiescent power

The NC7SVL04, NC7SVL08, and NC7SVL32 inverter, AND gate, and OR gate Tiny Logic ICs can provide big power savings. The low-power gates offer a 99% cut in quiescent power consumption, compared to standard CMOS devices, when the input high-voltage is less than supply voltage. During this state, the quiescent ICCT current may increase and can cause unrecognized power consumption.

The gates are packaged in an ultra-compact 6-pin MicroPak package measuring only 1 x 1.45 mm. Operating range is 0.9 to 3.6 V, output drive is 24 mA, and maximum propagation delay is 3.5 ns. ($0.08 ea/1.000 — samples available now.)
