Logic translator solves voltage incompatibility

The FXMA108 8-bit auto direction logic-level translator resolves compatibility issues in a mixed operating voltage environment common in today’s systems. It features a wide 1.65 to 5.5-V operating range and handles overvoltage surges up to 7 V.

The 20-pin DQFN-packaged IC has fully configurable inputs and outputs that track VCC , and a quiescent supply current of only 10 µA. Its outputs remain in a three-state condition until the active VCC level is reached during power-up. ($0.73 ea/1,000 — 8 weeks ARO.)
