This year at CES,Toshiba showed off some of its newly released and affordable everyday electronics. If you’re looking for some devices for a decent price, check these three out:
1. Chromebook
This week, the company announced its first-ever Chromebook would release in February for $279. It’s the first Chromebook in the category to feature a 13.3-inch diagonal HD display and weighs just 3.3 lbs. According to the company, the more of a Google user you are, the better a Chromebook would be for you since it’s got 16 gigabytes of storage, a 9-hour battery life and a quick, on-the-go composition.
2. Excite 7
This Android tablet ties right into the Android ecosystem. It’s lightweight while still including micro SD storage capabilities and will hit the market this year for $99. It’s so thin you can slip it right into your pocket.
3. Encore
This tablet runs Windows 8, so you can use it just like you use most of your Windows devices. This is different in that it’s small enough to slip right in your pocket. The tablet can also work as a companion to your Xbox if you download the Xbox Smart Application. The device includes a Micro USB port that will charge it so you don’t have to worry about separate adapters. The Encore comes in 32 or 64 gigabytes and will sell for $329.
Bonus
Toshiba’s 4K laptop
This product doesn’t have a price yet, but may not necessarily fall into the “affordable” price range, but its 4K screen is great for watching movies and working with digital SLR for crisp images.
Look how the text on the screen pops.
The 4k laptop will be available in the summer.
