A series of standard, low-cost, heavy-duty Louvered Filter Fan kits are designed for enclosure applications, preventing dust and dirt from entry and protecting fingers from fan blades. The kits are flame resistant to UL94V-0 and are rated to IP54, IP55, IP56 and NEMA 12 protection grades when used with the harsh environment fans. The foam sealing is also used to provide protection from the elements.
The standard filter fan kit consists of an ac fan, louvered fan guard, filter, metal guard and hardware. Available with and without a finger guard, the kits are available for 120-, 172-, 225-, 254- and 280-mm ac fans. Kits requiring dc fans are also available. The fans vent with screens at a 45° angle. They are made of nylon fiber and synthetic resin, and filter to 8 microns. Pricing start at $34.50 with 120 mm fans.
