The XMC1401, 1402, 1403, and 1404 32-bit microcontrollers use a Cortex-M0 core and have 32 to 200 Kbytes of flash and 16 Kbytes of SRAM, with extended control performance and connectivity. The devices use a 48-MHz clock and operate over –40°C to 105°C.
All versions have a nested vectored interrupt controller and a math coprocessor, as well as a dual-UART/LIN controller, CAN, and dual 1.1-Ms/s 12-bit A/D converters. They have a temperature monitor, up to four fast comparators, four complex industrial timers, a nine-channel LED brightness control unit, and dual-hall or quadrature encoder interfaces. The ICs come in four different packages as small as 5 x 5 mm. From $1.24 ea/2,500.
